Pastel by Lewis Silvers

I’m reading a great book.  I’m reading a book recommended to me by Young Adult writer Kristen Tracy, whom I met at the San Francisco Writer’s Conference in February.  She recently signed a two-book deal.  You can read all about that on Alan Rinzler’s blog.

The book is Ron Carlson Writes a Story.  This is not a ‘rules book for writers’.  Instead, he breaks down how he came to write The Governor’s Ball.  It’s a gentle, hopeful, helpful book.  It’s a book that makes you feel less lonely.
